Introduction
If you want your Lean initiatives be successful, you must understand what your teams need. When it comes to Lean transformation and keeping the momentum, ordinary management styles tend to fall short. During LL training, you find out how to train people in Lean, and motivate team members during their Lean work. The content of the training will make you intricately familiar with the history, philosophy and best practices which make Lean so effective. And with the help of our Lean Experts, the practical side of the methodology becomes your toolbox. With your new knowledge of Lean tools, methods and leadership techniques, you help your teams in avoiding pitfalls and achieving consistent results.
organizational BENEFITS
Lean activities do not thrive under a centralized style of management, therefore a manager who also understands Lean and manages in a Lean way is most effective. Lean Managers empower and support their teams achieve greater results and contribution to company goals. Similarly, without a leader who understands the cyclical nature of Lean, results will be less consistent. A core principle of Lean is that processes revert back to ad-hoc chaos, and improvements will be undone without a cycle of constant vigilance and improvement (i.e. PDCA). By employing a Lean Leader to spearhead a team of Lean professionals, their work, initiatives and results can be much more effective and impactful and sustainable.
Training variants
Attend one of our classroom trainings and interact one-on-one with your trainer and classmates. Discuss your thoughts, practice tools, and learn from each other’s experiences. Our face-to-face trainings are the best way to share and network with other participants and are the ideal choice for anyone who enjoys hands-on learning.
You can participate in this training from anywhere in the world. We’ve designed our program to maximize interaction and engage participants in a fun way: For example, through a live value stream analysis where you dive into a process and build it from scratch. Or a team exercise that demonstrates why ‘Standard Work’ actually works. It’s a hands-on experience you can do from the comfort of your own home – very convenient, but just as educational.
Curriculum
In comparison to our Lean Practitioner (LP) Training, the Lean Leader (LL) Training has been designed for professionals looking to take charge of Lean activities in their department. This training is one of the most extensive Lean courses we have available.

During this training, our Lean Experts ensure you understand even the most complex concepts of the Lean methodology.

FiNancial details
Students of The Lean Six Sigma Company have two options: They can opt for training that includes a project and all required coaching by an experienced project coach, or they can sign up for training without doing a project. Doing a project is of course the desired option, as you will put your theoretical knowledge into practice and improve your business while you are still in training.
After having trained thousands of students in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, our findings are as follows: projects by a Green Belt save 50 – 100 thousand Euro on average, often from the very first project. And with each project taking approximately 4 – 6 months, it is even possible to carry out multiple projects a year.
If it’s a training for your team you’re looking for, then our In-Company pages will be of interest. We will sit and decide together what is the best approach for your needs. There’s no easier way to get started with Lean Six Sigma as a team than with our In-Company training.

FAQ
Every training we offer assumes that our participants start the training without any knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. It starts with the basics and explains the mentioned topics without assuming any prior knowledge. During the training, you will perform simulations and exercises that will help you expand your knowledge. If you choose to do a project as part of the training, you will be coached and supported by one of The Lean Six Sigma Company’s Master Black Belts to help you get to the finish line.
This depends on your goals and what you intend to achieve. The main difference is the scope of your projects. Green Belt projects usually aim to solve problems that only affect the stakeholders of one department. Black Belt projects usually deal with lengthy, complex problems that cross departmental boundaries and affect multiple stakeholders. The duties of a Green Belt are similar to those of a project manager. Black Belts have more responsibility and take a more active, leadership role by guiding other Green Belts during projects.

Lean Leaders have a different role than Lean Practitioners. Practitioners carry out small to mid-sized Lean Initiatives mostly in their own workplaces. Lean Leaders on the other hand possess a wider range of knowledge of Lean, lead larger projects, and train employees so they can start using the Lean methodology themselves.
