If you have already done a Green Belt course and want to advance in your Lean Six Sigma journey and become a Black Belt, the GB2BB course is designed for you. With this training, you’ll expand your understanding of Lean Six Sigma methods and tools and move from departmental to enterprise-wide projects. You will learn how to lead diverse teams, dive into process analysis, and tackle larger projects as a Black Belt. Completion of this training is rewarded with a full Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate. This ISO-compliant course offers students the option choose between the Black Belt Services or the Black Belt Manufacturing upgrade. Our modular approach allows Green Belts upgrade to Black Belt as the GB2BB training builds upon your existing Lean Six Sigma knowledge and expands it with all the concepts and theories offered during our Black Belt training. The BB Services training consists of 3 days and further explores DMAIC projects, the many uses of Minitab and topics such as Measurement System Analysis and Process Capability. The BB Manufacturing training includes all of the BB Services training content but adds an additional 2 days for advanced topics such as Hypothesis Testing, Control Charts and Design of Experiments.

The main advantage of Black Belt projects is that they produce more impactful results. Green Belt projects tend to be more focused on their area of responsibility. They tend to work with smaller, more localized teams. Black Belts, on the other hand, are the true experts in methodology. They hold more of a leadership role than the typical project management responsibilities of a Green Belt. The effectiveness of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts is based on their rare ability to help everyone save time. Time is always a scarce commodity. But by refining processes, creating common routines and changing the way people deal with hurdles at work, Lean Six Sigma practitioners can save incredible amounts of time. Black Belts learn how to deconstruct and rebuild processes, how to engage others in continuous improvement, and how to improve the standard of work for everyone.
As a Black Belt, you are now able to analyze and interpret process statistics using tools such as Minitab. The insights gained through the use of such tools enable incredibly effective process improvements and remove any doubt about further efforts.

FiNancial details
Students of The Lean Six Sigma Company have two options: They can opt for training that includes a project and all required coaching by an experienced project coach, or they can sign up for training without doing a project. Doing a project is of course the desired option, as you will put your theoretical knowledge into practice and improve your business while you are still in training.
After having trained thousands of students in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, our findings are as follows: projects by a Green Belt save 50 – 100 thousand Euro on average, often from the very first project. And with each project taking approximately 4 – 6 months, it is even possible to carry out multiple projects a year.

Every training we offer assumes that our participants start the training without any knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. It starts with the basics and explains the mentioned topics without assuming any prior knowledge. During the training, you will perform simulations and exercises that will help you expand your knowledge. If you choose to do a project as part of the training, you will be coached and supported by one of The Lean Six Sigma Company’s Master Black Belts to help you get to the finish line.
This depends on your goals and what you intend to achieve. If you would prefer to employ Lean Six Sigma on a part-time basis, for example alongside other work, the Green Belt training would be the best choice. If it’s your aim to work with Continuous Improvement and become a Lean Six Sigma professional, then the Black Belt training would be the right pick. The main difference is the scope of your projects. Green Belt projects usually aim to solve problems that only affect the stakeholders of one department. Black Belt projects usually deal with lengthy, complex problems that cross departmental boundaries and affect multiple stakeholders. The duties of a Green Belt are similar to those of a project manager. Black Belts have more responsibility and take a more active, leadership role by guiding other Green Belts during projects.
BB Services training is best suited for individuals involved in transactional occupations such as general administration, hospitality, logistics, financial services, etc. BB Manufacturing training is best suited for individuals involved in production, machinery, factories and automation. Of course, graduates of the BB Manufacturing training can also carry out projects in the transactional areas.
