Your way of studying

Attend one of our classroom trainings and interact one-on-one with your trainer and classmates. Discuss your thoughts, practice tools, and learn from each other’s experiences. Our face-to-face trainings are the best way to share and network with other participants and are the ideal choice for anyone who enjoys hands-on learning.

You can participate in this training from anywhere in the world. We’ve designed our program to maximize interaction and engage participants in a fun way: For example, through a live value stream analysis where you dive into a process and build it from scratch. Or a team exercise that demonstrates why ‘Standard Work’ actually works. It’s a hands-on experience you can do from the comfort of your own home – very convenient, but just as educational.

About our Green Belt training

The ability to permanently solve problems is one of the most highly valued skills in any The ability to solve problems permanently is one of the most valued skills in any organization. And that’s exactly what you’ll learn in our Green Belt training. During our training, you’ll learn how to uncover the root cause of a problem and ensure that improvement initiatives are always focused on the goal. This is one of the reasons Lean Six Sigma practitioners are in such high demand: They solve problems through in-depth research and prevent firefighting; they create solutions that last.

As a Green Belt, you need to involve different levels of an organization. After all, improvement is still change, and change should never come as a surprise; that creates resistance. By knowing how to engage key parties and applying change management techniques, you instead create support for those changes. Turning reluctance into enthusiasm is an important aspect of any Lean Six Sigma project.

Green Belts are expected to possess a broad range of knowledge and tools. Therefore, Green Belts are expected to have a broad range of knowledge and tools. Therefore, choosing the right training is critical. Training must ensure that hands-on experience is part of the program to help participants bridge the gap between “knowing” and “doing.” For this reason, our complete Green Belt program includes a project and lasts 3 to 4 months. This is because only through repeated application of knowledge over several months can students become truly competent. In the next section, we show what special features the training offers.

This intensive structure has one goal: to make you a competent Lean Six Sigma expert. With each phase, your knowledge and understanding of the tools will grow until you finally know how to achieve your goals as a full-fledged Green Belt.

Frequently asked questions

1. Can I enroll a training without any prior experience or knowledge of Lean Six Sigma?

Every training we offer assumes that our participants start the training without any knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. It starts with the basics and explains the mentioned topics without assuming any prior knowledge. During the training, you will perform simulations and exercises that will help you expand your knowledge. If you choose to do a project as part of the training, you will be coached and supported by one of The Lean Six Sigma Company’s Master Black Belts to help you get to the finish line.

2. Should I go for a Green Belt or Black Belt training?

This depends on your goals and what you intend to achieve. If you would prefer to employ Lean Six Sigma on a part-time basis, for example alongside other work, the Green Belt training would be the best choice. If it’s your aim to work with Continuous Improvement and become a Lean Six Sigma professional, then the Black Belt training would be the right pick. Consider attending our FREE Online White Belt Training to find the answer yourself

3. What is the difference between Green Belt and Black Belt?

The main difference is the scope of your projects. Green Belt projects usually aim to solve problems that only affect the stakeholders of one department. Black Belt projects usually deal with lengthy, complex problems that cross departmental boundaries and affect multiple stakeholders. The duties of a Green Belt are similar to those of a project manager. Black Belts have more responsibility and take a more active, leadership role by guiding other Green Belts during projects.

4. How does the ‘BB Services’ training differ from the ‘BB Manufacturing’ training?

BB Services training is best suited for individuals involved in transactional occupations such as general administration, hospitality, logistics, financial services, etc. BB Manufacturing training is best suited for individuals involved in production, machinery, factories and automation. Of course, graduates of the BB Manufacturing training can also carry out projects in the transactional areas.

5. Do you offer training in other languages?

In Austria we offer our courses in English and in German languages. More information about our worldwide presence and courses in the other languages can be found on our world map page, here you will find in which countries we are currently active and offer trainings.

6. What is the right training for me?

This depends on your goals and what you intend to achieve. Why don’t you follow our Online White Belt Training to find the answer yourself?

7. Should I go for a Lean Leader or Lean Practitioner training?

Lean Leaders have a different role than Lean Practitioners. Practitioners carry out small to mid-sized Lean Initiatives mostly in their own workplaces. Lean Leaders on the other hand possess a wider range of knowledge of Lean, lead larger projects, and train employees so they can start using the Lean methodology themselves.
