WHAT IS YOUR LEAN SIX SIGMA CERTIFICATE WORTH?

In-company.

Lean Six Sigma in your company

Although Lean Six Sigma is best known as a project-based improvement structure, it is much broader than that. Lean Six Sigma is an established philosophy, an organizational and improvement structure as well as a set of tools. Using this perspective Lean Six Sigma addresses organizational issues with respect to competitiveness, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.

Depending on your ambition, Lean Six Sigma can be implemented in phases. Every organization is unique, without a common blueprint that universally applies. Together with you, The Lean Six Sigma Company will develop a plan of action tailored to your organization.

Lean Six Sigma Courses

We offer a host of Lean Six Sigma courses enabling you to become a specialist in the area of continuous process improvement. Our courses provide an excellent opportunity for personal development and Lean Six Sigma certification can greatly improve career prospects.

Five reasons to choose us

In the 90s organizations were applying either Lean or Six Sigma. In 2002 the first literature about combining the methodologies was published. The Lean Six Sigma Company was founded in June of that year and our founders strongly believe in the benefits of combining Lean and Six Sigma.

A lot has changed since 2002. Today Lean cannot be imagined without Six Sigma any longer and globally a large community has emerged that focuses on the combined methodologies.

Over the past 12 years thousand individuals and hundreds of companies have realized their Lean Six Sigma ambitions through our courses and certification.

1) Internationally accredited and recognised certification

Our Lean Six Sigma courses are acknowledged internationally. The Lean Six Sigma Company provides open enrollment courses in Austria, The United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, Balkan Countries and Ireland. The content of the courses is in accordance with international standards.

Our courses are provided in English, French, Italian, Dutch and Serbian.

2) Improving courses since 2002

“Practice what you preach” and we preach quality. Since 2002, we have continuously been focused on improving our Lean Six Sigma training. Having experience with hundreds of organizations, we have examples from every industry. Our Master Black Belts have extensive experience in the field and were certified by international corporates such as General Electric, Toyota, RioTinto, DuPont and Avery Denison.

Having such a large network of Master Black Belts, we pride ourselves in the depth of the knowledge available. Monthly Master Black Belt meetings are organized to share experience and exchange latest developments. Bi-annually knowledge sharing events take place throughout Europe and North America. This way we try to develop the best training sessions that meet market needs and take the latest trends into account.

3) Services vs. Manufacturing - Understanding the needs op today’s market

Understanding the needs of today’s market, we developed separate Black Belt training programs for service and for the manufacturing environment. This was possible as our Master Black Belts do have the knowledge and experience pertinent for different segments of business. This is how we approach “in – company” training. Our Lean Thinking, Lean Practitioner, and Green Belt training would be carefully crafted to the needs of your business, using examples and focusing on subjects that are most likely to be recognized and put to best use by your employees.

4) Training program that is just what you need, where you need, when you need it

Lean Six Sigma training has been reserved for big multinationals in manufacturing environment for many years. Small and mid-size companies were reluctant to commit significant budget and resource availability to train 1% of Black Belts and bigger groups of Green Belts. Our program is giving you the option to find the right level of knowledge for the right size of the group that needs to be trained. You can start with Lean Thinking, only 2-days training that will enable employees to recognize the waste in the process and initiate improvements. Once momentum has been created, you can add 2 additional days and become Lean Practitioner or 4 additional days of Six Sigma and become a Green Belt. A Green Belt can be upgraded to Black Belt by adding 3 or 4 days training for service or for manufacturing Black Belt. This option to aggregate training modules from small to big is providing customers with the possibility to be trained as much as they need and to discover right level in time, based on results achieved at different stages of implementation.

5) From learning objectives to exams

Naturally, the content of a course is extremely important but we also believe the teaching methods employed are of equal importance. We have invested substantially in developing appropriate learning methods.

The content of the course is laid down in well-defined learning objectives in the Body of Knowledge for each separate course. Starting point was to classify the learning objectives according to the six different levels of knowledge complexity (Bloom’s taxonomy).

1)   Memorize
2)   Understand
3)   Apply
4)   Analyze
5)   Evaluate
6)   Create

Using a pedagogical matrix developed especially for The Lean Six Sigma Company the learning objectives and corresponding knowledge complexity were translated into specific teaching methods.

As a result, depending on the subject matter different teaching methods will be employed. This leads to diverse interactive course days, full of examples and practical exercises rather than a dry and lengthy powerpoint lecture.
